Day 01: Calicut – Wayanad

Meet and greet at Calicut Airport /Railway station by our representative and transfer to Wayanad. On arrival check in at Wayanad resort. Overnight stay at Resort.

Day 02: Wayanad

After breakfast go for sightseeing it includes Edakkal caves this is a crevice for about 96 ft in length and 22 ft width. A fissure was created due to a rock splitting due to natural weathering.  There are human and animal figures carvings on the rock walls depicting pre-historic period and civilized people. The caves can be approached by 1km trekking trail starting from Edakkal. Afternoon visit soochipara waterfalls. The waterfall ranged from 100 to 300 feet in height and is a luxury to the eyes. This is a prominent place for leisurely destination. This place is a blessed place as its divinity is obvious in the beauty of the nature. Evening back to resort. Overnight at resort.

Day 03: Wayanad

Wayanad, the green paradise is nestled among the mountains of the Western Ghats, forming the border world of the greener part of Kerala. Clean and pristine, enchanting and hypnotizing, this land is filled with history and culture. Located at a distance of 76 km. fromthe sea shores of Kozhikode (Calicut), this verdant hill station is full of plantations, forests and wildlife. Wayanad hills are contiguous to Mudumalai in Tamil Nadu and Bandhipur in Karnataka, thus forming a vast land mass for the wild life to move about in their most natural abode.

After breakfast visit Kuruva island it is situated on the tributaries of the river kabani its serene silence and wide expanse of the evergreen forest leaves you astonishing. This island is isolated but an array of uncommon species of birds, herbs and orchids are the monarchs of Kuruva Island.  Kuruva Island is a vast island of 950 acres abundantly rich with green forest. It is very far from the turbulence of city life making it an exotic place for visitors to relax and enjoy the beauty of the nature. Overnight at resort.

Day 04: Wayanad

After breakfast visit Muthanga wildlife sanctuary, Elephants roam freely here and tigers are sighted frequently. Various species of deer, monkeys, birds etc also live here. The trees and plants in the sanctuary are typical of the south Indian moist deciduous forests and west coast semi evergreen forests. After noon optional tour to Banasura dam.   Overnight at resort.

Day 05: Wayanad – Calicut Departure

After breakfast drive to Calicut Airport/ railway station to board your flight/train to the onwards destination.
